Wong Kok Char Chan Teng @ SS2, PJ

Both SY and I went over to TF, Jaya33 yesterday for a round of Body Combat. It was Kevin's class and after it's done, dinner beckons. We drove to nearby SS2 and found a parking spot (illegal one ... hehe) near Wong Kok Char Chan Teng. For those of you not in the know, WKCCT is one of the many Hong Kong type restaurants mushrooming all over the place ... very much like my all time favourites, Kim Gary and U Village. Apparently, WKCCT opened their latest outlet in the Pavilion as well and judging from the photos, it looked swanky. Must give it a try someday.

Anyways, we ordered pork chop hand-made fried noodles (nice), preserved veg & pork slices noodles (nice), some fried bacon & meat side dish (so-so only) and beverages consist of coke cuppacino (crazy caffeine overdose concoction) and some kinda sour plum juice cocktail (sweet and refreshing). Hehe ... do pardon the inconsistent provision of accurate information here but last night, I was very thirsty and hungry ... hence, my grey matters weren't in optimum drive. Notice how the photo quality were compromised too. As the saying goes, a hungry man is an angry man. Hehe.

Also, I was busy giving Roger Kwok (WKCCT's new brand ambassador) a thorough 'facial make-over'. So you could tell how hungry / angry I was then. Hmphhh!!!. You gotta love me no??? :p

Hehe ... I was familiar with most of the tracks he did ... hence, I was 'shiok sendiri' throughout the class. Hehe. Personally I would prefer a packed class rather than an empty one provided the members get enough personal space to move around lo.

Every instructor has their own style, their own way to work the crowd ... to cater to certain type of members but then again, it's hard to please everyone.

Are you a member of TF? You were at Jaya33 last night? If you are, how bout coming over this Saturday. I'm replacing a class at 10:15am. :)

Hey Anon,

Nothing helps to destress oneself better than having a massive workout ... or at least that's what I think. Come Saturday morning ... just let it all out. I guarantee you'll feel much better after that. :) We'll bring the house down together!!! Kia kaha bro.

Hey, waita minute!!!

If i were to go to Pavilion today, i would have blown my cover! You would have known; the one at Jaya 33 last Sat and turn up at Pav today!

Aaa....cheeky u.... ada udang disebalik batu!

hahahahahah!!!!!

Adrian said...

Aiks ... never thought about that also. :p And how to remember every face in the class wo. Hehehe.

Anonymous said...

hehehehe... the one with the "guilty" face and sheepish smile, dude!!!

I sure cannot tahan wan and burst out laughing!

sigh, don't know how to tackle my work, damn!

Adrian said...

Oi ... don't you burst out laughing eh ... later I also start laughing and can't conduct the class, I'll blame it solely on you. Haha.

Work ar ... do the best we can and then go home with a clear mind. If needed, 'battle' again the next day because work will simply never end. There's always somethign that will crop up. We just need to learn the best way to handle it and not permit it to affect the other aspect of our lives ... not worth it if you ask me.

Thks bro, bet you're a nice chap. Honestly, i'm so demotivated at my work, tho i know it's rite not to let it get to you - it's easier said than done.
However, nowadays, with great combat workout and consciously disciplining the mind, i think i manage to let tmrw's worry worry itself and enjoy the present.
Who knows if i kick the bucket today, at least i didn't worry about tmrw eh? hahaha!
Hope u had a great time last nite at the Pavilion.
Take care and have a great day ahead ya?
cheers!!

Hey Anon,

From my position, I guess I can only offer words of comfort. God knows everyone of us have our demons to fight. And sometimes, the sky will seem a li'll greyer. But after the storm, I always try looking out for the rainbow.

Yesterdays are bygones, so let bygones be bygones. We learn from yesterday, we work for today and we live for tomorrow.

Hi Adrain,
It's Friday!!! Yet, first time in my life, it has fail to have it's effect on me.
I'm utmost miserable, I hate what I'm doing and for no bloody reason I'm getting all emotional! Damn!
I'm so sorry, i don't mean to bog you down with my miseries, seems like I can talk to you better among all here in the off.
Sigh... wish i'm 80 - and quite ready to kick the bucket at times!

ARGH!!!!

Hey Anon,

Like I said, there will be times where we'll be tested. Times where it seems that the whole world is out to get you and keep you down. In cases like this, we'll have to be rebels and refuse to let it get to us. Much easier said than done ... I know, but with this realisation, at least the first step is taken. From there, slowly but surely learn to get up and walk again. And sometimes, it doesn't mean you're weak by asking for help. Family and friends are more than willing to help if only you'd ask cause sometimes they don't realize that we need them.

Anyways, as a friend, I'll be here k. :)

Anonymous said...

Hi again,

It's Mon..... sniff sniff.... glad i have you to chat with.....

thks mate!

Adrian said...

Hey Anon,

Hope you're feeling better after the weekend. And yes ... Monday blues have strucked again. Sigh but at least we have Thurs to look forward to right? :)

And hey, friends stick up for each other and I fully expect you to lend me your ears when I need em' you hear. Hehehe.

Have a sunny day ahead k.
