Life today

RM2.70 per liter ... I'm sure most if not all of you have felt the drastic impact from the fuel price hike. Was also informed that hypermarkets will be increasing their products' cost very very soon. Many people were seen stocking up on essentials over the past weekend. Sighhh ... what's this country coming too now?

A member came to my class late last week and later confessed that although she knew she was going to be late, she refused to speed up to save up on fuel.

Well, all is not lost though ... nestled amongst the busy commercial lots in SS15 Subang Jaya, there's a vegetarian restaurant and it's almost always packed with customers. What's so special bout this place??? Ok ... here's the secret ... for a serving of rice with any three vegetarian dishes (like in the photo above) ... it'll cost you ONLY RM2.00. Yes you read right ... RM2.00. Where else in KL can you still find food at this crazy low price???!!! Heck, free flow of H2O or chinese tea are provided as well at NO EXTRA CHARGE. All you have to do is to clear your own plates and utensils after your meal. Not too much to ask if you ask me no? I've seen people donating vegs for the chefs to cook and serve the customers, so I guess the owner is also relying on the contributions of charitable people. Now these are the real heroes in today's society. We need more of such people really.
