As with most wedded couples, the wife and I had our stag and hen's night before the Big Day. The only difference ... well, we had ours together at the same time and the same place. So yea, hence there were no strippers for me to stick mine one dollar bills onto. :p
We simply wanted to gather her friends, mine friends as well as our common friends together for some good food, rockin' drinks and for everyone to have a great time. I created an event on FB and duly shot out the invitations. We decided on Las Caretas becasuse it means a li'll something to both SY & I and it never fails to bring back fond memories. :)
On Saturday the 13th of June, precisely a week before our wedding was due, we managed to fill 4 tables with our close ones and the party began. A high school mate of mine, Ben even sneaked in a bottle of Absynth a.k.a. the potent Green Fairy ... 68% alco yo! *HIC*
Coincidentally, it was one of SY's gal friend, JM's birthday. We suprised her with a cake and got the waiters to play a birthday song for her and everyone else sang along.
We ate, drank, chatted and laughed well into the night. By the end, we had loads of fun and certainly hope so did the rest. YAMMMMMMMMMMM SENGGG!!!
